To strengthen coordination and networking of LASPs, harmonisation and standardisation of legal aid service provision by the different service providers, lobbying and advocacy to facilitate a favourable legal and policy environment.

Legal Action for Persons with Disabilities - LAPD

LAPD envisions A Uganda where Human Rights are actualised for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The vision of LAPD focuses on being a powerful engine for human rights and legal action in Uganda that will
contribute to a Uganda free of human rights abuse among persons with disabilities.

» Objectives
1.   To sensitize the general public on the social political and economic concerns affecting lives of PWDs
2.  To carry out research to establish gaps in the development and implementation of policies and laws
3.  To provide all forms of legal aid to indigent persons with disabilities in Uganda
4.  To monitor compliance of various disability related provisios in the constitution, acts of parliament and
other legislations
