On 31st July 2018, LASPNET in partnership with the Greater North Parliamentary Forum (GNPF) trained and inducted members of parliament as Legal Aid Ambassadors. The event held at Serena Hotel Kampala with major support from UNWomen and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was part the ongoing campaign by LASPNET and GNPF to fast track the enactment of a legal aid policy framework in Uganda.

LASPNET with support from the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) is implementing a project to monitor both good practices and corruption incidences in three piloted justice institutions of Uganda Police Force (UPF), Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and Judiciary. The project commenced in July 2016 and its overall project objective is to support implementation of the JLOS Anti-Corruption Strategy. The specific objectives include;
