To strengthen coordination and networking of LASPs, harmonisation and standardisation of legal aid service provision by the different service providers, lobbying and advocacy to facilitate a favourable legal and policy environment.

RETRAK has a vision of a world where no child is forced to live on the street.

Retrak works to transform highly vulnerable children’s lives; preserve families; empower communities and give

1.  To provide street children with a safe and real alternative to life on the streets based on the child rights approach
2.  To Position Retrak as a development organization that promotes family preservation and works with     communities to prevent highly vulnerable children from coming to the streets
3.  To expand the work of retrak throught partnerships for the benefit of highly vulnerable children living in poverty
4.  To inform Retrak reserach, advocacy and collaboration by being better at listening and engaging children’s voices
in order that we work to change policy and practice in their favour

Retrak works to enable street children to move from a life of vulnerability, exclusion and poverty living on the
streets to a life within a positive family or community where all household members are healthy, emotionally
well, safe, educated and trained and economically dependent.
