» Objectives
1. Access to Justice: To consolidate gains in access to justice through legal aid, legal education, public interest
litigation and advocacy for law and practice reform
2. Conflict Resolution, Peace Building and Transitional Justice:To contribute to conflict resolution, peace
building, transitional justice and the participation of women as decision makers
3. Economic Justice: To promote economic justice and rights for women through monitoring and advocacy
within the framework of pro-poor development
4. Sexual and Reproductive Health: To promote sexual and reproductive health rights of women, including
combating and redressing effects of HIV/AIDS
5. Institutional Development: To reposition FIDA Uganda as a sustainable human rights and governance
organization
